Our dear friend and surveyor Jerry Goodson passed away on Monday, October 29th. In honor of his memory, TSPS Chapter 21 has established the Jerry Goodson Memorial Scholarship Fund to benefit students in need of financial assistance. Jerry was a TSPS Past President (1994) and Texas Surveyor of the Year (1996). On Oct. 13, he was presented with an Eminent Educator award at the TSPS Awards Gala for his contributions to TSPS educational efforts for Texas land surveyors. He was also a Past President of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS).
